MBS remains open and is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment to our customers. To fulfill that goal the Airport has implemented an enhanced cleaning and disinfecting program of all areas frequented by passengers and employees of MBS International Airport.

Cleaning/Safety Protocols at MBS Airport:

  • Per the directives outlined under Governor Whitmer's Executive Order 2020-59 ANY individual entering an enclosed public space must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth if they are able to medically tolerate it. Adequate hand sanitation and social distance measures should also be followed. This EO is effective April 26, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. and continues until further notice.
  • In an effort to protect MBS International Airport's customers and employees, the staff are encouraged to disinfect their own areas as well as participate in acceptable personal hygiene practices. This includes cleanliness of personal effects, vehicles and residencies.
  • MBS International Airport will ensure that restrooms are well stocked and all fixtures are in good working order.
  • MBS International Airport will offer hand sanitizing stations at various locations as well as appropriate signage.
  • MBS International Airport promotes and encourages these measures to our travelers, tenants and staff. Wash your hands often. If soap and water is not available, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Stay home when you are sick. Cover your mouth and nose with a bent elbow or use a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of your tissue immediately and wash your hands. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Consult your health professional if you have any questions about your travel.

  • Regular daily cleaning
