Cleaning / Safety Protocols at MBS Airport
MBS follows all COVID-19 safety protocols put forth by the Saginaw County Health Department, as well as directives put forth by the Transportation Security Administration.
In an effort to protect MBS International Airport’s customers and employees, the staff are encouraged to disinfect their own areas as well as participate in acceptable personal hygiene practices. This includes cleanliness of personal effects, vehicles and residencies.
MBS International Airport will ensure that restrooms are well stocked and all fixtures are in good working order.
MBS International Airport will offer hand sanitizing stations at various locations as well as appropriate signage.
MBS International Airport promotes and encourages these measures to our travelers, tenants and staff. Wash your hands often. If soap and water is not available, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Stay home when you are sick. Cover your mouth and nose with a bent elbow or use a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of your tissue immediately and wash your hands. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Consult your health professional if you have any questions about your travel.

In addition to the regular daily cleaning, MBS has doubled its cleaning and disinfecting efforts. Disinfecting will continue around the clock to ensure quality and to reduce any risk.
The primary focus is disinfecting high traveled areas such as lobbies, restrooms, concession areas and gate areas.
Lobbies: Door handles, countertops, kiosks, trash bins,seating, tables, baggage carts and hand sanitizer stations.
Public Areas: Door handles, handrails, countertops, trash bins,seating, tables and hand sanitizer stations.
Restrooms: Doors and latches, mirrors, fixtures, flush valve handles and countertops.
Gate Areas: Seats, armrests, countertops, tables and trash bins.

Administration Office
is open to the public. We are requesting that everyone entering the building follow Saginaw County Health Department and TSA guidelines. Wash your hands and practice social distancing.
Food & Bar Services
Mr. JB’s Sky Bar & Grill located post-security remains open for all departing passenger traffic. The grill located pre-security will be open only if there is sufficient passenger traffic to warrant it. Vending machines are also located both before and after security.
